    I was looking at Germany’s last round thinking it might have been better for Germany to retreat to Paris after the second round of battle. After the second round the US was down to only three units. Germany’s retreat could have saved the panzer divisions from counterattack. It would have left the US the factory in Southern France but still that’s only three new units not really much compared to having the panzers exposed. Just wanted to share my observation even though I still think the axis is lost irregardless and has been for a few rounds

    I did think of that but after I too quickly hit the “no retreat option.” I considered asking your permission to disregard the last round of the battle and swing the tanks into France, but I had already rolled the dice and thought it a bit too much to ask.

    Probably not too much to ask other than my thinking that we are just delaying the inevitable. There is no hope left for the axis in my opinion but I guess it’s okay just for the fun of playing.

    If you are willing to grant permission to retreat from the last round of the S. France, I’ll take it. Whatever the case. the Axis’ prospects I admit are extremely dim, but I’d like to play on with the slimmest of hope.

    Not trying to offend you but there is no hope there is 0% chance. Even if the axis has many huge victories and wins numerous battles the war is lost. I don’t know if you like to look at numbers but look at the TUV difference between the allies and axis.

    At this point, I am playing to see what can be learned and have a little fun. I am not sure how long this will last, but today I’d like to continue.

    Okay I can grant that, but only if you make an agreement to limit this to only a few more rounds. It is fun and educational but only to a certain point after which it gets monotonous and loses those qualities. Where that point is I’m not sure but it’s very close

    Okay, if the Axis cannot make significant progress in closing the TUV gap and pushing the Allies back in the near the future, I will certainly be ready to concede and move on.
