If you wish, you are welcome to attack Yunnan with one less fighter, re-roll the Yunnan battle, and edit out the Japanese transport in SZ 41. This would mean attacking Yunnan with a small number of units (two 3s and 4). Although theoretically you should get 1-2/3 hits, Marti is capricious, and no hits is a possibility. In other words, you risk not taking out the Japanese infantry with the first strike. It would also leave the Szechwan force vulnerable to attack if the Japanese infantry hit, unless you took the hit on the fighter. This would mean trading a UK-Pac fighter for a Japanese transport. Your call.

I guess I’ll leave it as is (a) because I did it that way and (b) because your infantry missed. There’s no guarantee that will repeat.
