There’s a tonne of variables with that. Vichy & Taranto cause a lot of change. Hard to script an outcome.
I’m more worrying about Japan as a second theatre. With the later DOW you have to change up the game.

I agree, but with Vichy or Taranto the course is laid for the Allies. There must be something you could do with ITA to take more action instead of only react.

There is also the standard move of moving into the Ukraine to can open into Rostov.
Taking down the SZ91 cruiser denies a lot of flexibility for UK1. They then have to decide whether to use 2 UK planes for Taranto or something somewhat different.
If possible, taking and holding Gibraltar is a very strong move as Italy. They’re a bit of a weak point for the Axis so protecting their waters in this way is awesome.
