  • An JEB, one thing:

    The EDIT you did in your last turn was illegal. You moved the transport in Combat Move so you could not move it again in Non Combat Move.
    I have now assumed that you would not have moved it in Combat Move. So it was ok this time…

    Yes I was fully aware of that. The transport happened to move along with the rest when I choosed “all” of the units in SZ34 and attacked. Since it wasn’t loaded or used in the battle I assumed you were fine with just editing it afterward. Maybe I should have stated so explicitly.

    I have mostly been playing with innohub so far, and our philosophy on editing has been pretty generous. Basically everything is ok as long as it’s not changing the odds in a fight. Meaning if you do a combat move with a unit that is not used in a combat, it’s ok to withdraw that move and make another non-combat move instead. And it’s ok to edit all the way up until the other player has downloaded the file, by just reposting it.

    But different players have different views on this, so it’s good if we lay out some ground rules in the beginning. Well, this is basically my stand. Please tell me if you see it differently.

  • Regarding EDITs please let us agree on the following:

    You are allowed to edit Purchases and Combat Moves as long as no dice are rolled via the dice server.
    Legal (=rules compliant) Noncombat Moves and Unit Placements may be edited as long as the opponent has not downloaded the savegame file.

    In case the opponent has already downloaded the savegame file but not posted his next turn an EDIT-request should be posted.
    In this case the opponent may choose to either do his move using the non-edited file or accept the EDIT-request.
