Well this turns hideous mistake was forgetting that to scamble from Malta you need an airbase there….
Hence the overkill on the cruiser next to Malta. As a result probably undercooked the attack on your fleet off the coast of Ireland meaning I have a distinct absence of planes left. I think you got a bit lucky on the dice as well.
My strafe on Greece didn’t go too well either…
On a more positive note, at least there’s only one carrier left in the Atlantic for the Allies fleet. For now…

1940 takes some getting used to.
We were lucky to get away with the Bristol fleet so lightly (heavily to you, more like).
Are very few safe spots for the UK fleet early on. Germany’s Air is very powerful and can reach far. -
