Well I realized that Italy’s NO for controlling the Med only checks for surface ships (not all ‘ships’) as I thought putting the sub in SZ92 would block it. TripleA’s description is pretty vague but the official rule book does state surface warships :/
Probably would have played things it bit differently but live and learn.

It’s even hard to see the sub in tripleA, as it is well hidden behind those units in Gibraltar.

I don’t like my Italian position… although I feel I never had a chance to do anything any better, because you did not allow it…
… and your basis in Gibraltar will become a pain for the Axis… -
Yeah unit placement in Gibraltar is awful looking though not sure there’s a good solution to that.
Its funny cause I think the place where I wish I’d played things differently the most is around Italy/Med (at least so far). Though I guess the bright spots in the area for the Allies are Egypt and Gibraltar.
