PHASE ONE OF THE KRIEGSMARINE Phase One of the Kriegsmarine which consists of 35 naval vessels, painted in the Baltic Camouflage Scheme. I painted 3 patterns, the basic Baltic pattern, predominantly Baltic Black and a Baltic White, which I call my, " Antarctica Expeditionary Fleet.

This navy maybe small, but they are like a wolf pack, once they get a taste a blood, it is only a matter of time till it wears its prey down, and eventually gets overtaken.

Coming from the Baltic Sea into the English Channel, there is a dense fog, but the Captain of the allied ship cannot make out if the ship is friend or foe, but suddenly a loud explosion occurs, and the hull of the ship is flooding, and a fiery blaze is consuming the whole ship. Three torpedo’s have taken there next victim.

I hope you enjoy these pictures. It was a lot of fun painting these. :-D

The next picture is a Baltic Camouflage with predominantly black colors. I took creative liberties with the subs, as you will see. Fleet two has the pattern. :-)

The next picture is a Baltic Camouflage, using predominantly white. Here again, I took creative liberties on the subs. However, this fleet, I did not paint battleships or carriers. This is my special fleet, which I call them my, “Antarctica Expeditionary Fleet.” I didn’t see the need for battleships and carriers, because they have a different mission. Fleet three is consisted of this pattern. :-D

I will be adding pictures to my German thread on the 1939 HBG map, but not tonight, because I’m tired. All pictures of my painted pieces will always wind up in their perspective country’s thread, on a map.

Thank you both.

I was worried at first, how I was going to tie it all together, but through trial and error, I just kept working on it. The carrier decks were the hardest, because it took five coats for that color, and then scotch taping the lines of the deck took awhile.

I didn’t ink wash or dry brush, because I don’t know how to, not make a mess, with a tri-colored camouflage.

It didn’t workout for me. I kept messing my paint job up, or I was doing something wrong.

I don’t know which.

I thought it Ok, for this being my first navy to paint.
