    I need to bring the Americans to take advantage of 7 air down, because you have a tremendous ground force established in Asia very early.

    10/17 is the closest to average result possible for Japan’s opening roll in Szechwan (9.8 hits is average) … I don’t think rounding to the next whole number counts as scorching  :-P

    Thanks, I appreciate that.  It looked great, and I uncharacteristically didn’t do the math.  It’s a big break for me, when average was only 5-6 planes, I think.

    I would have put one in 92 and one in 93

    Your call on whether you’re going to let me move them, but obviously I didn’t want to leave them there.  If you agree to re-do your Italian turn and move my subs, you may keep the double miss in Algeria.  Good grief, you’ve had fantastic dice.

    I seemed strange, but I thought there was a chance you wanted to use them as bait for Italian ships (out of German airbase coverage).

    I can redo my turn, but if I still decide to attack Algeria (which is less appealing if SZ92 will be better defended) then I would not use my cruiser to bombard. So, in that case, I am guessing you would want me to roll out an additional round in Algeria since one of my hits came from the cruiser? And can I assume if I were to attack SZ93 that re-rolling is unnecessary?

    (I am not guaranteeing that I will still attack Algeria at all, I just want to know the parameters of adjusting this turn)

    Since it’s my error, go ahead and attack Algeria without the cruiser, and with infantry, artillery bomber you can take it with no losses

    I was going to move a sub to 92 and convoy with the other one before seeing any of your Italian move.  Sorry about the uncharacteristic oversight.  Just totally missed them when noncomming the whole British empire

  • It’s perfect, and really all I got out of the change was +1 sub in 92, so I don’t feel like you really made a big concession, which you shouldn’t.  Thank you for redoing the turn - that was very considerate, and I would have done the same

    I can do this easy turn right away then, so you can get on to your big German airstrike.  Hopefully it doesn’t go as swimmingly as all your early German airstrikes of our last game, obviously
