    Man what a waste of a game… All that buildup and planning, only to get diced hard like that. Really sucks. Makes me not wanna play this game anymore. I anticipated the hit on Persia, that you’d wanna maximize your strike on volgo, but I too figured I’d have most of my planes survive. What a depressing ending.

    I figured I’d put up a good fight in volgo, lose it most likely, but then go all out on novg (with a naval base purchased for UK in Norway). I’d then be able to survive the loss by victory city and continue to amass with my superior economics. I really felt I had this game in the bag. Damn.

    After the match is over, I would be interested to see what would have happened if Japan had rolled the most average result in Persia (9 Allied fighters surviving). We can set up a separate thread and test it out. If you have the time and inclination, let me know.
