Hi, I’m new so I’m looking at forum games to learn. Thanks, it was very fun and interesting. It seems to me there is an illegal combat move in round 12.
2 German fighters fly from SZ 112 to attack SZ 91 and then land in SZ 104. The problem is: there was an enemy destroyer in 104, so there wasn’t a 100% chance of the fighters being able to land. I know it was 99.99% with the whole German navy moving into 104, but still isn’t that illegal/kamikaze?

No, soson. It is a legal move, not a suicide attack.
All you have to do to make it legal is to prove you have the slightest chance, however slim, of there being a legitimate landing space. It does not need to be a 100% chance.You have got it the wrong way around, I am afraid.
In this example, Germany could have made the SZ91 attack from SZ112, even if it had have attacked an enormous fleet in SZ104, rather than just a Destroyer.
Legally, Germany could have attacked SZ104 with one Sub(say) and died, but the SZ104 attack by Air units would have been allowed.
In this case, In non combat they would have obviously crashed into the Atlantic.Sorry Dawgoneit and Shrimpboat for hijacking your thread and answering for you.
