I really wanted mutual annhilation in 104 - it would have added more need for you to attack mutiple spots (I would have parked subs in convoy zones vs. UK), and taken away your destroyer as an attack option. That’s how fine a line is going on in this game right now.
After G1 and J1 good dice, this game has been good to you from that perspective - most importantly the huge shift in SZ91 that opened up so many Med options for you. I’ll need a few minor luck swings to keep this game from slipping away. I don’t ask for much, just a piece here or there for a few turns… I’m heading out back right now to sacrifice a hedgehog and two rabbits to that end.

It looks like a 58% battle, with 1/2 a bomber left over… considering what happened in SZ91, and that these US boats shouldn’t exist, I expect the dice to come back my way :-D

Taking a 58% shot on half your fleet isn’t particularly aggressive - it’s smart.
Axis should never give Allies a 50% shot on a big stack in the first several rounds.
Axis units are more valuable than Allied ones
Taking down half your carriers, and effectively half your fleet, is definitely the thing to do at this point.It appears you are very fortunate as you are dodging a major bullet here
Axis can’t replace their powerhouse front line. That would be Japanese carriers, fighters, and men

If I don’t say anything, you’d probably keep offering up juicy targets for the Allies like that in future games
You were surprised he was “aggressive” and I was giving you a different perspective on it from my experienced viewpoint.I have consistently won 80-90% of my A&A games through the years, and I was offering some helpful insights.
If that makes you angry, I think it just hurts your pride to have someone comment on a mistake you made.
