This game is incredible, and a real challenge but I don’t mean to be dragging my feet. I like my adjusted move better, I did work a lot of it out and took notes, but will need a block of time and energy to execute.I hope it’s not disappointing or irritating, my friend

Take your time. I am just interested to know how you propose handling yunnan as i dont think you can attack it with the revised map and it might have consequencrs elsewhere. I have some ideas, but am curious what you think

At first I thought, well, I’ll still attack Yunnan but of course with everything. But 3 of your casualties are AA and 2 inf.
Also, I could only go 1 round because in round 2 I would lose too much.
I think you will like the - quite different - turn I’ve come up with, I just need to finalize it. -
If you start over again i would like you to post the combat move file, before you roll any dice. Surely, if you attack yunnan with everything it has consrquences elsewhere. I would also like to know how already rolled dice is handled

I’m not sure what you mean, so I’ll try to clarify.
My move was made with a big Russian stack in Burma instead of Yunnan. You told me I didn’t have the latest map. I said I’d have to re-do the turn then.
I might have confused the issue when I joined you in talking about the move, by saying that at first I thought about attacking Yunnan anyway, but this time with the rest of the units on FIC. But like I said I didn’t like that attack, and why. That was just hypothetical talk.
Since I had to re-do my turn, all the dice rolled the first time didn’t matter. I lose my win in Brazil, you lose your hits in Russia and China, etc. I lose my win in Yunnan. All of that was in a “fantasy world” because I had the wrong map.
I don’t know how we would handle it any other way, so I’m curious what you are thinking. You made a massive change to the board after I downloaded the map. For some reason I never saw your edit. Everyone allows it almost all the time, but technically when we post the move, it’s final unless you ask if it’s OK to edit. It’s common practice to do what you did, and I’ve done it many times, so it’s generally accepted as OK and I accepted yours as OK.
I have to re-do my turn because I missed your subsequent edit, and that was quite disappointing. If you’re saying some of the dice should stand, or that you’re not sure what should be done, just let me know what you have in mind. I’d love to keep my win in Brazil. But when I faced a drastically different situation in Yunnan I had to re-do my turn, and to me it was obvious that my first play on the unedited map was void.
Again, I’m not sore, just tell me what you aren’t sure about because it sounds like you’re unsure. But I think my telling you that I’m looking at it all as a clean slate and the move I made before is just totally void like it never happened, that maybe that clears it up for you?

I think we have the same understanding here. I also think the turn should start over again with the revised map, just like you say. I did not fully understand if you intended to cancel all or just some dice. That is why I asked for the combat move file. I think cancelling all dice and start over again is the best solution. But I am willing to listen to other options too. There isnt more to it than that. The russians to Burma was just a misclick, they dropper there instead of yunnan and I didnt realize it at once, hence the edit.
