What about all the bonuses the allies get, some of which require them to do nothing to achieve them. Particularly the USSR bonuses which also send the money precisely where it is needed. The only real bonus the Axis get for free is the Japanese home islands one. It’s possible to turn that one off if it really bugs you. It wasn’t in version 2 of balanced mod.

Thanks for the game. Can you post the result?
I found it hard to understand the lack of transports in the Pacific when you ruled the waves there and the Middle East was too weak. I think you could have hurt Japan more than what you did. Italy was also incredibly strong this game.
I note that you didn’t like the mod so much but I don’t understand what the big deal about a couple of small objectives that they can potentially get is. If the allies prioritise stopping them, they can do so. I reckon the Med is spiced up by having extra objectives there. Getting a bit more money for USSR is really important and I don’t know how you could argue that point.
If we played OOB, that wouldn’t be so much a playtest I would say.
