Can I do an amphibious assault with only a enemy transport in the sea zone

So the situation is that I want to do an amphibious assault without support with only a solo transportship. The seazone is occupied with a enemy transport. Do they have to engage before the disembark/landing or not?

An enemy transport does not make the seazone hostile. So you can ignore it and unload.
