    since I knew which units should I take as casualties (since I go for maximum offense) and U are not sure, I suggest that U roll the battle from the begining, and choose Ur own casualties, and for mine it is logical, just do it ;)

    It is better that U roll, because if i roll , i ll have to ask U about casualties each round

    It is difficult for me to simply accept a complete re-roll because you didn’t ask me for OOL. I am a bit crazy when it comes to this game and these things, so please, in the future, please ask OOL for any large battles or naval battles.

    Perhaps we can agree to this?

    The first round dice do not need to be rerolled as nothing needs to be changed. USA has 6 hits, JPN has 9. As stated I would take the hits differently, being 1 tipped BB, 2 tipped CV’s, 3 killed ss’s.
    This doesn’t effect your second round dice, of course, you had 2 hits, the JPN round 2 dice will be effected as I no longer have any subs….Usually I would say that since the two subs didn’t hit the first time it doesn’t matter, just move onto the next round attack but I think you really want to roll this battle again so perhaps we start the re-roll here? Should we do a low luck re-roll the rest of the way? This way it would avoid me rolling better than 9 hit’s on D, which I had. I would have 8 hits and I would have one roll for a 1.

    Jpn round two rolls on D would be for 2 tipped BB’s, 2 tipped and 2 undamaged CV’s, 1 cr, 2 dd, 5 fgt & 2 tac. for 8.1 (8 hits and one dice at 1) against USA 5 ss, 1 tipped BB, 4 dd & fgt

    The the usa would have a low luck re-roll for round 3 attack, you would have  BB, fgt & most likely a DD. 1 hit plus a dice at 3 etc……

    Ultimately with a low luck re-roll, you would come out better than the last round dice, probably killing 2-3 more of my units. I haven’t done the math. What do you think?

    On a different topic Wheatbeer uses a low luck re-roll system when he plays, I have been asking people if they want to incorporate it in my games. When there are crazy bad dice you can request a low luck reroll. it helps take the sting out of getting diced…anyways let me know.

  • If U think we can preserve other dices (all though U are changing hits received) - jap 1, usa 2 etc. keep them.

    Keep all rounds that can be kept.

    But do not use LL.

    Yes, if you are attacking, your opponent is supposed to select casualties. Just as your opponent is to decide to intercept, scramble or Kamikaze. Most battles are quite simple so there isn’t a need to ask but in large battles, especially large naval battles, you should ask because it is very important. Choosing the wrong units to lose in a game can cost a great deal. I didn’t expect you, the Americans, to start a suicide attack on the stronger Jpn fleet, therefore I wouldn’t have said, if you are attacking my OOL is……

    your 1st and 2nd round dice wouldn’t change… my first round doesn’t change, my second round would as I don’t have 2 subs but if I hit 9 again then your third round dice wouldn’t change either because you would only have the tipped BB & 1 fgt…
