    battle in 110 was done incorrectly. from your round 1 air attack, you chose to take out one of my figs as a casualty instead of my bb. I know you went off of the default choice, but considering you have 2 subs and I don’t have a dd, I would’ve definitely chosen the bb as casualty over the fig.

    well the convention and mutual understanding is, the person rolling the dice would make the best decisions on behalf of the opponent he is rolling for. and if there is ever any doubt, the roller must ask his opponent for clarity, or else just make an assumption but be ready for that assumption to potentially be overturned (e.g., when doing an SBR or attack and intercepting/scrambling would be going against overwhelming odds). I think it’s more than clear that in this case, it’s pretty much always a given that the bb would be taken out before the fig, so the understanding would be that you as the roller would make that best decision for me, or else simply pause to ask for clarity.

    this mutual understanding and convention works really well usually, btw. I mean we just finished an entire game where neither of us had to specify any OOL. so it’s a really nice convention and really helps speed things up.
