Well I think I have had it.
Attacked France with 97% odds (excl the AA gun which I did not know how to include, but it didn’t hit anything) according to AACalc and failed. 13 units/30 attack value vs 10 units (incl the AA gun)/22 defence value. The force was with you!
Went back to my notes for your Egypt attack, which I had calculated at 50/50. I had added in a non-existent 2nd German tank. Without that tank, the odds were 75% in your favour. An error on my part.
I could not bear to lose Egypt again and moved all my fighters there as I had planned. That should help bring the game to an end!

I think I have lost this game, but will let you get Berlin before I surrender. Who knows - I may get lucky!
When it’s finished I’ll ask you where I went wrong, as at one point I was rather on top.
Need to ignore the unlucky dice - although they have caused me a lot of pain in the last few rounds. I am sure we have both has unlucky dice, but the tendency is only to remember your own.
I do think a key moment was the “s/w glitch” J6 in sz51. If I had won that aborted battle things would have been different in the Pacific. I then made the mistake of landing my planes anywhere so as to save and ask you what to do, not realising that you would carry on. The outcome was that J lost its fleet and the money islands.
