I played that turn badly and feel like I was not concentrating properly. Losing Gib and electing to attack as the Japs last turn has certainly unhinged my game and thinking.
In the game with Vance I made a small mistake, which will be costly. I forgot to move an Italian into Alex, forgetting it was still Combat, despite being empty.
Anyway, have fun in the Med. Germany has well and truly shot its bolt. I have no Air and cannot hold or retake Cairo.
I attacked Bessarabia riskily, which I thought I did not ever do; now my Easten Front is in two Army Groups, as I felt I needed to watch Romania. I also have no back up line.
The Med has dominated my thinking from the outset and it has backfired.
I think I am thinking about work and not having any after I sell the restaurant.

I have looked and it would seem I used all 4 movement to reach SZ45; I had  thought I had 1 left to reach SZ35.

My Carrier has to leave the safety of the fleet. I have landed the one Tac on it that survived the battle(but that crashed into the sea as I did not move the legal landing space to it). The other two Air units had enough to reach the Philippines, so I have landed them there.
To cover my weaker fleet, I have blocked the US one with a final noncom to SZ34.

I believe I have corrected the illegal Tac/Carrier noncom movement with these moves.

I forgot to post the new file, but have looked again and there are only 3 moves to DNG. My Tac could reach Philippines SZ after all. I cannot see anything wrong with the other Air moves, so I think I did not make a mistake in moving.

Forgive me/ I have definitely seen the error.
I had to land the 2 Air from the SZ 55 battle(moved 1) to Java.
The SZ 45 battle(moved3) had to land on the Carrier.
As I lost one of them, one of SZ55’s Air could replace the lost SZ45 Ft
