@Ghostglider scramble orders. No rush, just realized I hadn’t tagged you initially.

what are the odds of the russian on bryansk?
-
What Allweneed said
Is now 42%, would be 51% without 1 mech
-
It’s still 51% if he tries to save the bombers
-
heh - i know what i would do. i also know what has happened EVERY TIME I HAVE DONE IT.
-
Top 25% result for defender results in basically his air surviving (maybe a tank or two)
And the British air force would get a crack at whatever’s left, so if it’s not too much, the Brits could clean it up…But I have enough defense to hunker down safely for at least another couple turns and make him keep sending most of his stuff east…
Will have to survey the world-wide situation again before deciding
-
i love a big battle, ATTACK ATTACK ATTACK…
er, i mean defend defend.
-
You’ve got a lot of high quality units sitting there….
-
german engineering is all about quality, not quantity.
too much talking not enough rolling.
-
I don’t think there will be much rolling…
But I need to do more meditating first…
And check the alignment of the stars… -
-
perfect clip.
soviets try to run their way out of the siege and run into defensive germans rolling lots of 2s forcing the soviets to retreat. -
The dice just destroyed me
Ridiculous

The dice just stripped me of my considerable advantage
Now it’s a dogfight :|Game on!
-
The dice just destroyed me
Ridiculous
Ouch…
As I have told Bold, ErwinRommel, my brother and others; it is painfully unfair having to attack with 1s.

i just checked, you got screwed super bad. that was epic bad dice.
-
The bait was very juicy. It was the right thing to do, at least for round 1. Not sure about round 2, but I think there were merits to that too.
It’s a desperate move to put the entire airforce and almost all tanks for Russia to take a 50/50 shot on for the game, but it was a shrewd thing to do, and it worked out for Allweneedisrolls

arathorn - there is nothing unfair about it. it can go just as bad or worse in the other direction. just so happens that apparently tripleA skews against it - either that OR the last 5 battles of this nature that i am aware of have ALL PUNISHED THE ATTACKING RUSSIANS WICKEDLY.

It is not just triplea - in January, playing Europe, I forced the Russians (played by Rommel) to attack my German stack - and his 1s suffered greatly. I am a believer in odds and statistics, but there appears to be a bad omen over Russians attacking with 1s… I’ve never seen it work on a large scale… lol
