    I’m confused.  Are you saying to re-roll?  Your sub hit in the first round.

    Of course I would have had my sub fight - it can’t do anything, and by fighting it gives the cruiser a shot if your sub hits.

    Shouldn’t you re-roll the battle since I want my sub to fight?

    I mean, since you said your sub would fight for 4 rounds, I think that means you are not considering your first round sub hit to be hitting my sub…

    Why don’t you just re-roll the 113 battle on the forum, but this time having my sub fight.

    i think the most appropriate thing to do would be to keep my sub roll and you can assign if you want it to hit the sub or the cruiser. after that we roll the surviving unit.

    however, since i am in the wrong we can do whatever you like. please feel free to roll this battle via the forum. or at least the first round of it.

    my roll for 4 rounds comment was assuming you would lose the cruiser and then it would be sub on sub. and i would attack for 4 rounds and if no one hit i would submerge.

    Well I wouldn’t strongly disagree with keeping your sub hit, except your policy has always been that if your opponent disagrees with your choice, you re-roll.  Seems to me you would be inconsistent to keep that sub hit now.

    You said in your second sentence that we can do whatever I like, so in keeping with your own stated policy, we will re-roll because you made the wrong decision for me.

    after a second thought this might have been the most appropriate fix. i think all rolls upto the mistake should stand and then reroll ALL dice after the mistake.

    the mistake i made was at the beginning. so i guess it was right to reroll the whole battle.
