    The only problem with this style, it that it can be slightly more tedious and that it allows both attackers and defenders to calculate exactly what they need to accomplish an objective.

    Naval battles presumably require subs to be calculated separately when their inability to hit air units or their sneak attacks come into play.

    I haven’t played a game this way.  But in a game with another player, we played low luck on some big battles in Russia because after some game-endingly bad dice.

    And sure, we can start up a new one.  Need to think a bit about how Low Luck should affect my G1 (if you’re sure you want Allies).

    Convoy and SBR damage should probably be regular dice .

    Dogfights and aa fire could be done either low luck style though.

    I can definitely see that it could be more tedious as you have to go round by round to figure it out I guess… still, the aacalc can help with that and there still is just enough luck to make it somewhat random in close fights.

    On subs, I’m fine with doing low luck there too, just in a different batch because of sneak attack and inability to hit planes. So, if we had 3 subs going against a destroyer have 50/50 of getting a hit. Also could see just rolling subs normally as they can be a big difference in a battle.

    aa fire can also see being done normally or with low luck. I suppose I like low-luck here too as aa fire can really hinder or help a cause dramatically. Completely change the nature of an attack. You only do low-luck to minimize mayhem, so probably good here too.

    And happy to take the Allies. We’ve played a bit now and I hope you have figured out I’m more about learning, enjoying, and getting better than wining. Wining I reserve for business and Vegas… here, I just simply love the game, love figuring out what to do, and really like simply getting better.  And right now, I am awful as the allies. Just not my natural aggressive playing style. I think I like the initiative and am simply not comfortable with trying to regain it.  But, I think I am learning to be more patient. I’ve played the allies face to face a few times in global as well and lost miserably. Again, being reckless and wasteful.

    This new game will be better for sure.
