Just saw that you took Suriname from the Dutch with US. What I know you can only do that after having declared war on the true neutrals and only ANZAC and UK may grab dutch territories during NCM. Hence changed it, but if I’m wrong we can change it back.

I believe it is a legal move, but I am not sure. The Dutch are listed as Friendly to the US and Custodianship to the Brits and ANZAC. So, you may well be correct. Have you tried a simulation to see if the AA program changes possession to the US or does not?

Just ran a sim. You are correct, moving a US land unit into Suriname on NCM does not change its ownership. Please edit.

That’s how I would interpret the rules from the Pacific:

“These two powers also have an arrangement with the Dutch government in exile (Holland having been captured by Germany) and have taken guardianship of the Dutch territories in the Pacific. As a result, they are free to move units into these territories as a noncombat movement at any time, as long as they have not yet been captured by Japan. They may actually take control of them (gaining their IPC income) by moving land units into them. Additionally, the United Kingdom and ANZAC consider attacks against any Dutch territories to be acts of war against them directly. Once a Dutch territory has been captured by Japan, however, it may be captured and controlled by any power.”

Wonder what would happen if US attacked the Dutch? Actually, then they would be at war and already allied to UK and ANZAC, so wouldn’t matter, I guess.

Blitzed Yaroslavl and Bryansk with tanks, which apparently took a wrong turn and ended up in Smolensk, where they accidentally killed 2AA before committing suicide. With your permission, I returned the tanks to Russia and restored the German AA.
