Japanese A&A Pacific 2nd Edition Color Match
Hey All.
If you are looking to match the default color for the Japanese, try Vallejo Liquid Acrylic 804 Transparent Orange and Model color 140 Flat Brown mixed 30 to 1 sprayed on an undercoat of 131 Orange Brown. It’s a dead match.

Some 1914 painted pieces…
-
hey guys,
Just wondering if anyone has painted or would share any 1914 pieces they have painted? I’ve worked on some units myself I must admit the planes were fun as there was so much color and character to the paint schemes during this time. Funny I spent hrs painting as many pieces as I could and have only played the game with my buddy 2 maybe 3 times. Had fun but its just too long a game!

Thanks for viewing! I hope there’s some others on here that tackled some A&A 1914. “Tall Paul” some beautiful infantry sculpts in this game for your great detailing pleasure!

Very nice! I love the biplanes, although they must have been a pain to paint, with all those undersides of the wings and what not.
-
Very nice, even though i am a non painted units fan.
I like the biplanes especially, and your eindecker/ three decker solution.
One question: why did you put red stars on the russian planes ? -
Great paint job – those A&A1914 planes look much better painted than OOB, and the flight stands are a nice extra touch.
-
Wow JWO, these are incredible! Nice job! :-D

One question: why did you put red stars on the russian planes ?Hey matt thanks for the likes. I painted the red star on the Russian planes more for game play and country indenification. The friend I play with is not adapt in the historical markings of each countries airforce’s in 1914 particularly Russia. But everyone knows the Russian “red star” So I used a 1920 Russian SPAD scheme from the polish front!

thanks spitefire! yes I know you feel my pain lol, ever paint some 1914? Its too bad the game is so generic with every country having the same moulds, however I was surprised to find a lot of paint schemes for each country with SPAD fighters!
