i think in BM for axis to win against a good player like yourself, having a strong Italy that is active in the med is a must. i don’t believe it’s possible for the axis to overcome the allies economically otherwise, and against a good player who plays a careful russia while knowing how to maximize pressure on the other end of europe, i don’t believe germany can take out moscow. italy is needed to keep the allies more engaged in the med, north africa, egypt, and the middle east.
