Comin’ right up

I think you have 7 planes that need to land on carriers in 33 but you only have 3 carriers
The one from Hawaii travelled 4 spaces and must land on a carrier.
The 6 in the Carolines have 1 movement point left and must land on carriers.Or did I miss something?
Thanks -
If I am right, I imagine you just hold back the plane from Hawaii that you probably (at a glance) don’t need anyway?
No scrambling, obviously

Didn’t finish the NCM.
Allies concede defeat.
Some people might question gambling on Carolines, but I think 40% there was better than my odds of winning against you playing safe. If I had been lucky, I might have had enough defenders to make a SZ33 counterattack costly for Japan.
-
Excuse me for saying the scrambling decision was obvious, I suppose it really wasn’t totally obvious when you consider counter-attack possibilities

Great -
Good game, Wheatbeer!
I for one am not questioning it -
I was already calculating counterattack on Z33, but assuming you lose all or all but 1 ground unit, I don’t think I would have counterattacked (roughly 85% odds, maybe) because as you pointed out, it would have probably been too costly. -
good game guys!
-
I would have taken the BB hit, then fighter (to max defense for counter, since other planes would replace ideally), so the scramble call isn’t 100% obvious.
But I think scrambling was more of a gamble, since the Japanese would likely have just a single round to soften up the US fleet.

Thanks, I’ll need it
Happy gaming -
Oh right - we have a league game on the back burner. I believe you had a very good G1. Time to resume that game - I bet it will be fun!
