Oh man, that’s absurd. We’ll chalk this one up (so far) to insanity with the dice, because otherwise your strategies are sound.
But it’s not really over - Germany can stay a beast for a long, long time as you know - and I tend to be more of a methodical squeezer than a quick and decisive slicer and dicer :-)
I wouldn’t count you out, but the dice have given me a decisive advantage.

That strafe was pretty close to average - if you would have kept fighters over tacs at the end, let me know. It was pretty clearly a strafe, because of your ability to counter and wipe out all my hardware -

you blew away a couple planes with dd’s defeated landing parties killed ships… I hit nothing…

I mean, your dd killed a sub and a couple planes, your troops stopped 2 landings despite overwhelming attacks… basically Japan accomplished nothing, and to stay in the game they needed to expand rapidly

Ok Karl - that was officially a dicing. I’m sorry that happened - our first game was much more based on strategy.
I was satisfied with my aggressive Russian play, so I’ll take credit for creating my own opportunity, but the first battle of Belarus + Luftwaffe over Moscow+ Japanese turn defies the odds.
I swear I didn’t sacrifice any goats or groundhogs.
I’m up for game 3 at some point soon - let me clear my deck a bit, you can clear out the bad taste of dice gone bad, and we’ll start up a new one soon, if you’re in.
