  • started the turn, but after some thinking over it I realized there’s really no path forward here for axis. euro side is pretty stuck, allied hordes are blocking every path forward, and on the pac side, I think that blow the navy that’s coming plus strong Chinese presence seems like Japan isn’t going anywhere soon either. the decision to give up was mainly mine as I am feeling a low morale in this game, but also with ptv in general. had quite a lengthy chat with Adam about how I feel about some of the aspects that seem to really hurt the axis compared to previous versions, or at least make it really hard in the face of what I am considering weaknesses easily exploitable. so for now I think I am done with this and sticking with what I enjoy the most and consider a masterpiece, namely bm3. I think ptv definitely has a lot of promise and I like a lot about it, but certain things I can’t seem to get into or get over. to each his own for sure. thanks again for the quality games!

    with bm3 FYI bids are as high as 20 or so for allies, but that adds some nice variety so it’s welcome. the game at about that bid is fairly balanced


  • I recently joined a startup and so my work schedule has gotten a whole lot busier, but if you guys don’t get an opponent in a few days then maybe I can take one of you guys up (or both of you together if you prefer that).
