    OUCH, indeed!

    I thought so long about my ITA1 move. I feared that exact attack, especially because you can retreat if the first round goes badly (and I think you should have done that - at least after the second round). After the second round you were clearly behind.

    In the end I still decided to move the fleet there as bait - I only needed to kill 2 planes to have good chances at Egypt. So all I was hoping for is not getting diced and only shoot down 1 or even 0 planes.
    Now this, however, is so much more than I hoped for.

    BTW, I’m not entirely sure but I don’t think China can land the plane in Burma prior to a war between Jap/UK. China and UK are not Allies yet…

    Yeah, it was definitely a mistake with lots of other consequences in Europe. I opted not to retreat because I was thinking  I would just expose my air to your counter. I was kicking myself also for not having that other UK destroyer or the bomber in range too. But given the situation there were better options for me then going for it. Anyway, we will see if I can hold on in Europe now. But I like playing desperately too.

    On the fighter, I asked on the league discussion page and got confirmation from Adam. I’ll double check. If I can’t, I may change the subsequent UK moves as well. If this doesn’t effect Italy than I would just go for your turn.
