The Italian advance on Egypt was questionable from the start. Italy had more troops but UK had many planes. With bombardment, Italy had almost as much offense as UK defense on round 1. With low luck, might have gone 2 rounds and saved planes. But with random dice, the risk was greater than the potential reward. Luftwaffe would destroy the UK planes. But Germany would lose planes and not be in position to threaten Russian position in Bry. U.S. fighters and UK builds and reinforcements would re-garrison and be stronger than the small second wave Italian amphib. Should have sent Tobruk army west to convert Vichy inf on T1 & T2. Could only partially extract the Italian army from N. Africa and will never retake it.

Japan J3 could have landed planes in Hun to threaten a Chinese advance to Shen or Rus to Man. But I chose Kwang to keep U.S. at bay in the Pacific. Glad to see Russia didn’t advance south.

@FMErwinRommel Yeah its a big commitment from germany to support the Italians in Africa. Unless G buys fleet and sends it to the med T1 and T2, or if the UK player makes a mistake or has a shocking round it is a hard take.
Being able to splash your 2 tts in 99 is a bonus although you certainly have the islands for a few rounds now.
Russia is content to play a waiting game…:wink:

@FMErwinRommel just a small point…although the TripleA engine allows the move, the tank blitz to activate tunisia is an illegal move…movement has to stop in the activated area.
So if you want tunisia your tank, mech or both have to be in it… -
