Hello everyone,

My name is Sergeant gentlemen, and I wanted to show off the custom map that I’m working on.
I’m very new to Axis&Allies.org, so if there is something that I’m missing in this post please let me know.

I’m showing this off in order to get some feedback in any way possible.
The map itself is in it’s very early process.
Currently I’m done with all the landmass.
I’ll definitely add more details to the land, like lakes, rivers, trees, mountains, etc.
My custom map is gonna be a more realistic type of map.

When all the land stuff is done I’ll begin to add the borders, provinces, etc.

I quickly did some coloring for the Central Powers to show off the colors that I might want to use.
Germany black as always, and as for Austria Hungary… well seeing Austria Hangary having a white color in the hoi4 game, surely made it interesting for me to try it out.
I also think the green color fits with the Ottoman Empire, maybe a red color would also work, but then again, I’m open for suggestions.

I’ll be updating you guys on the map.

@Midwest-Doughboy so the naval base icons were replaced with peices which could be added through use of research and technology points. I do have a rulebook in the works however i keep getting sidetracked by other projects.

The technology list is the most key component to this game. Every nation gets points every round and must choose how to spend them. Re-usable items include coercing minor allies into the war as well as establishing new factories and naval bases.

Unit list were expanded, much in thanks to historical board gaming.

My rules for the russian revolution still need work as they feel entirely broken at the moment.

Regarding prices, here are some quotes that I got from two different Southern California print shops  (I had posted this also on the thread entitled Ambilzi & Grasshopper’s 1940 Global Map)

The first print shop provided the following estimates (note the $52 set up fee):

SET UP:  $52.05 ( digital color file set up, latex printer set up)

48" x 105" vinyl $142.63  print digital color 4/0 on white smooth vinyl (15oz)

48" x 105" canvas  $300.13  print digital color 4/0 on canvas

48" x 105" versa fabric  $273.88  print digital color 4/0 on versa fabric

53" x 116" vinyl  $174.63 print digital color 4/0 on white smooth vinyl (15oz)

53" x 116" canvas $368.13  print digital color 4/0 on canvas

53" x 116" versa fabric $335.88 please note: print cannot be any larger, printing on a 54" rolld

A second set of quotes from a different Southern California printing company for printing on vinyl (the type of material used for advertising banners):

48"x105" ,  white 64" Roland EcoSol Banner, solvent 6 color Roland 4sf  $230.80

53"x116",    white 64" Roland EcoSol Banner, solvent 6 color Roland 4sf  $258.78

56"x122.5",  white 64" Roland EcoSol Banner, solvent 6 color Roland 4sf  $277.42

(I might check on the AliBaba website to see what I can find for printing services in China.  Also, I’m checking on the possibility of printing on upholstery vinyl and marine vinyl).
