Totally agree! My mindset as well.
I find it difficult sometimes with the colours of the units and not being able to see the whole board often leads to errors. Case in fact, in this turn, I thought the transport sitting off Brisbane was a US unit so I didn’t take the opportunity to attack Java. So, I made the edit in the non-com. Reasoning is, there was no dependency on the battles that were waged during the combat phase, so it was a reasonable edit. Do you share the same philosophy?
