    I have given this significant thought and have come to the conclusion that I cannot allow the edits.  As I fully expect that this choice will not sit well with you and quite possibly be interpreted as poor sportsmanship, I’m going to explain the key reasons I came to this choice.
    1.  You had Japan’s turn to identify and correct the German move mistake.
    2.  Notwithstanding that I absolutely agree with you that it was a mistake / over-sight I cannot help but feel, especially in the case of the Africa bomber, that is was my mistake(s) that put the bomber into place.  I had to live with the mistake of not seeing the bomber in range of the two transports you sank that turn.
    3.  Lastly, since I sincerely feel that I’m facing a superior player, my only hope to make a game of it will be capitalize on your limited mistakes.  If I allowed the edit, it wouldn’t just be correcting a missed move, it would be taking away one of my (limited) chances to make up some TUV.

  • ok don’t sweat it then, it shouldn’t alter the outcome in the larger scheme. i do appreciate that you gave it some thought at least.

    if i were to accuse you of poor sportsmanship, simply because you feel differently about allowing late edits, then i would be no better…i’d be a poor sportsman just as well then.

    i guess going forward, i will have to be extra careful, as admittedly, i’m used to playing guys that are very forgiving and open to edits (and i am super forgiving, to the point where i even allow dice redos if they go really bad, especially early in the game where it’d just be no fun or challenge to continue…i’ve also forgiven major major blunders, like lose-your-whole-allied-navy kind of blunders lol)
