    You should check last face to face game me and Caesar did. Russia raped Germany so hard that in the end it was producing over 100 IPCs. That’s how hard Germany paid investing the first two turns in fleet buys.


  • and this is my opinion: in G40 Russia is so OP that unless Germany goes ALL IN on it, a competent Russia player will make Russia an invincibile fortress, and the Iraq+ Africa territory will make Russia in a production monster. THe only way to avoid it is to strike Russia FAST, before it can achieve that. If Germany builds fleet, goes in the med, does SeaLion, Russia will (can?) punish Germany VERY HARD. That was the whole point of the “fixes” between Alpha1 and Alpha3, to make Russia a powerhouse in the event that Germany decided to spend money eslewere.
