Well you would have needed 2 more to block (at borneo and at dutch new guinea)

Anzac had cruiser + carrier at india, so it was theoretically possible. You would have still lost all your blockers, which would have been quite expensive too. But not +155. The fight was fairly average btw. I scored a lot more hits than average, yes - but since I didn’t want my planes to crash in the ocean, I had to choose expensive carriers + some planes as casualties.

I think my battle calculator showed +150 TUV in average and I had +155 now.

Ahh man I’m so embarrassed by this…I should’ve blocked at Phillipines, that’s where I originally intended but for some reason I glitched and thought it was safe to instead block at Celebes.

Wow that’s hands down the worst blunder I’ve ever made in this game…I rarely blunder, but this one was HUGE.

Too bad, I was about to start some serious operations in the med…Greece, Iraq, etc…this makes me so sad and discouraged.

I’ll play out some crazy moves to see if luck can save me at this point.

Gonna hit southern Italy with everything I have…do you wish to scramble anything? two planes from persia will assist vs the scramble.

I think I still had the upper hand, since my airforce was getting really strong and Japan’s ground force too. On the other hand, though, Anzac has tons of fighters already and losing egypt was a blow.
