    I noticed you moved your US transports during combat move and then moved them again during non combat move…I don’t think that’s a legal move.

    gamerman has stated that’s not a legal move. You’re going to have to edit your units that were placed in Soviet Far East back to Alaska and then figure out if you want your transports in sz2 or sz3… and you may want to edit some of the moves you did with your dd’s. If you want to use your transports next turn then you probably should edit some of the dd you moved to sz3 to protect them.
    Go ahead and do the edits and then repost…I’ll check everything out after you post.

    If the transports stay in a seazone that has a battle, then they are considered to have participated in combat.
    page 22 Europe rule book states…
    Phase 4: Noncombat Move
    In this phase, you can move any of your units that didn’t move in the Combat Move phase or participate in combat
    during your turn.

    I’ll try to find something in the rule book about your sub question and you could post a question regarding that matter in the Global 2e faq.

    if Japan moves a sub into sz3 during combat move then combat would occur on Japan’s turn. If Japan moves a sub into sz3 during non combat move then combat would occur on your turn …if you choose to do combat.

    I’m glad that matter is all cleared up.
    Here’s a tip…when someone tries that trick on you, you don’t HAVE to do combat with the subs. You can just ignore them and move your transports, but if you move your transports or do combat…you won’t be able to load the transports.

    I know you can if you’re making an amphibious assault.
    But I think if you move them and load then move back into battle you won’t be able to unload them on a non combat move because they were in a sea zone where combat occurred.
    But I’m not real sure about that…
