It was a tough call. I considered a EPL airbase to toast the fleet in SZ110 with German air and the sub from SZ125. If that hadn’t required a carrier buy for Germany (to give the EPL fighters a hypothetical landing zone), I probably wouldn’t have done that instead.

The attack on 110 would have been risky and even if you sunk everything you would lose several invaluable German air units most likely.
I shudder to think what you will do with your gift transports (gift because I let them go with the USA sub going the other way), so I will not imagine and just deal with it when it happens. -
