Yeah, I probably went heavier in the Pac theater than typical with the bid, which you took advantage of with a strong G1 opener. Good rolls as well.

That looked like a last gasp, desperate win or resign attack. Can’t blame you. It’s a slow death otherwise.
The way I wanted to respond to this statement was “my last gasp is coming on my next Russia turn” And here it goes!…

That was an impressive battle, going from a low odds to a good one after rd1, and coming back to a very low one two rounds later…

Thanks for the game, even if not a fair one.
The only real mistake I’ve been seeing was the us1 buy I already pointed out. It actually definitely convinced me to go for sz8, since I had a lot to win there (two full turns without any atlantic allies in Europa / Africa !)
Otherwise, dice have been too much on the axis side, and I’m not sure you had any chance then, specially since you were gambling a little early on (that I can understand, putting as much pressure as possible early on looks mandatory in a KGF).
-
Yeah I was very disappointed in UK1, I didn’t mind the sub hitting as long as I kill it only 8% chance of the sub surviving. As long as I kill the sub I can place in sz2 and use the russian sub for defense. I haven’t looked at it but I think placing in sz2 might have still been better because it would have been 2 subs vs 1 sub 1 AC. I didn’t look at it close enough though.
