Hmm, not looking good here for the old allies. I was surprised you didn’t just park your fleet off midway and bring up your trns from phi. Don’t think I would been able to stop that…
Anyhow, just don’t see how the allies can win at G40 2nd. They can contain one side of the map but then lose the other. The J1 really tilts things in favor of the Axis. India and Anzac never get off the ground.
Since we are close to the finish I think it’ll be cool to see through.
Noticed your text when I scrolled back to see where the American bmb went. Yeah I was thinking about going for Hawaii but I opted for the slower but hopefully unstoppable advance in Australia. I’m hoping I can flood it with units quicker than you. :-)
I do agree that the axis got the advantage in G40 2nd, the question is how big bid you need as allies to even the playing field, got to bounce will do Italy n about an hour…
-
Yeah, maybe a 9 bid was too small.
Who knows… maybe I’ll get lucky? Probably not…
-
I am not sure about bids though. Too big and you can plunk some ships/aircraft off UK and basically shut down Germany. i think they need to give the UK another NO and maybe beef up the USSR. If the USSR was able to really fight the Axis, it would free up allied forces for the pacific. As is, the USSR just wilts against any major German move and hopes it can hang on until the Allies can distract Germany.
-
Yeah you can’t inflate the bid to much. Anyway Italy coming up….
