how can one view other player’s games in progress?

Just download and open as local game, etc?

New player so would like to view to learn.

That’s it.

Once a savegame is loaded, you can use the “Game-Show History”-feature and watch everything right from the beginning.

Have fun :-)
Don't always trust TripleA when it comes to rules questions. Know the rules before you start … and better check what TripleA has done.
