@Amon-Sul I finally found time to start our 1st L25 game :-)
Any scramble orders?
GLHF!
Wow. :-o
Some weird dice this game. Luckily for me, you’ve gotten the worst of it. I’m not sure if attacking with 99% odds would even be safe. lol!

I know! I was about to quit, but then I thought what if I get a 1% result when you attack me? Most people like to play when they’re winning, so I’m guessing you’re fine with continuing……
Yeah, I don’t mind continuing. I assumed you’d wait for either Berlin or Rome to fall or maybe you were waiting to try and catch an under defended UK and get a sneak attack that way.
I tend to enjoy the early rds of an undecided game the most. IMO once a game is decided (winning or losing) it becomes less fun and depending on how long it goes, it can be tedious. Playing a game for 40 rds, when it is decided in rd 20, isn’t as fun (even if I’m winning). I’d rather call it and spend those extra 20 rds on a new game or two. I like long games if they are truely undecided and toss-ups, but in terms of game playing the fun for me is trying to get to that early leading/winning position. Sometimes taking a capital or wiping out an army is just a formality, so it may not be as fun as the lead up to that battle.
On a side note, I like the challange of playing the Allies in 50 (I loved playing the Axis in Classic and Revised for the same reason) which is why I may under bid them from time to time. And I actually hate doing J1 and 2. Even though I may have standard starts in terms of buys and combat moves, I just hate doing all those battles. lol!
I forgot, I’ll probablly have US up tonight or tomorrow.

At your convenience - my tournament and playoff games are keeping me pretty busy for now anyway.
No, I totally agree with what you said about playing meaningless rounds…. Yes I am close to quitting, but not until Berlin or Rome falls without a way to get it back…

Yeah, that totally makes sense. And I do the same thing. Sometimes the major battles can be so costly (to the attacker) it might leave the door open etc…
Yeah, I have a couple games I’ll move in before this one, but I don’t like to leave my turns hanging for too long (if I’m not busy that is), or I forget what I was going to do. lol!
