This low-resolution module usually works fine, but every once in a long while (3 weeks or so) I have issues and have to reinstall it-weird. I’m getting Win7 next week so maybe that will help…I got crappy Vista right now. I’ll get to my turn later- sorry for the delay. -
the T40 mod likes to freeze for me too…usually works fine if I just reopen the file though.

Since Alpha+3 is coming out- let’s play that instead. Might as well wait and see the changes. Now that Alpha+3 will be here I have a very deflated interest in playing this Alpha+2 game. I forfeit this game in favor of wanting to play Alpha +3- so its an easy win for you- though it may not have any meaning being an “old” version now… :wink:

Yes, I think just a few, little tweaks would be plenty.
Take the 10 IPC NO away from America. Replace it with one in S. Italy (or Sardinia, but Italy makes more sense from a game play perspective) and Gibraltar + Morocco + Algeria for 5 each. America can EASILY decide to ignore them and lose them, but in doing so, will be weakened against Japan, which I think is needed.
I’d like to see the R&D system just plain scrapped. The map’s too huge. Otherwise, there needs to be 6 technologies: Long Range, Heavy Bombers, Improved Infantry, Improved Shipyards, Improved Airbases, War Bonds.
LRA: +2 Fighters/Tacticals, +3 Strategics
HBs: +4 Strategics, +1 Tacticals (Strategic Bombing Raids only)
I Inf: MI can blitz as per armor rules, MI cost 3
I Sh: Reduced Fleet Costs, Shipyards increase movement by 2
I Air: Reduced Air Costs (9 Fighter, 10 Tactical, 11 Strategic), Airbases increase movement by 2 (makes islands easier to attack from.)
Bonds: Roll 2 Dice, +2. Add income. (The map’s too huge for 3 IPC to be much use, 7 IPC is more useful.)Dunno…what do you think will be on the list? You know we have to play THE DAY it comes out, right?
