    Thanks for the game. Given that you have played less, you also played quite well. A small bid might have made the difference here too.

    I’d be up for playing again, but I want to wind down a few games first so maybe not for a few weeks.

    You could try other league play if you are interested. If you look at the league standings and rules you will see that there are 5 tiers of players (3, 2, 1, E, M).  I’m sure you would find players in Tier 1 or E to be a good challenge and at your level (that is where I am at). And you could try BM or play with a bid too.

    How do you feel about BM mode so far?  Is it a better game overall in your experience?

    I like BM mode. The increased number of national objectives add new things to the game and encourage the players to contest more of the theatres. The China rules are interesting and add guerrilla war to the game (Japan needs to keep land units in inland Chinese territories in order to prevent Chinese units from spawning and the territory being shifted to China at the end of the China turn.) Vichy also complicates the game. I think(?) it helps the axis in the early game (most of the French units and territories shift to axis friendly neutral) and the allies later on (those french territories can be taken for their income without the axis occupying first).  Marines are a nice addition as well.

    I  don’t know if it is a better overall game experience. I also like the bidding in regular mode as it adds some variation to the game each time you play. But BM is definitely worth playing and the changes make it a bit more complex game.

    Yeah.  I also like bidding system.  In a tournament the bidding thing adds lot of variety to the game.
    Will try BM mode some time - after some more global games :-D  I need to develop some more via Allies play
