Perhaps not but I think axis have the edge is in this version yet I got a bid. In version 2 the allies had the edge though. Guess that shows it is close to balanced with these changes, an achieve some love more than others.

IIRC you let me get away with holding some islands in the Med which denied you some objectives. You held Moscow longer than I was expecting you to but the Middle East was always way too weak. I think I spent a lot of troops on claiming Gibraltar all the time which I am not sure was worthwhile. Kept giving you some troops to kill.
Anyway, seems that the Axis have some momentum now, so long as you can’t kill the fleet in the Indian Ocean somehow. Especially if Japan can clean up China.

Not sure why you would want to play that though. Losing the USSR lend lease upgrades and SBR upgrades seems like a loser to me. If you don’t want to play with Marines, just house rule them out. And Vichy, you can turn off in options if you like. Guess there’s a couple of others.
