Wow! I never attacked the true neutral and never had an opponent attack them. (Except at the end of a non-league team game, when they attacked one neutral.) You had lots of units in place to attack the large armies in Spain and Turkey. You only left me Sweden Switz, maybe Mongols and tiny places that I can’t reach. Seems like you are better off, with a little more income and land routes to France and Greece. Germany isn’t positioned to take on these new threats, while still having to defend against amphib invasions in Northern and Southern Europe. Will be interesting. Wonder why this isn’t done more often, or maybe is and I don’t see those games.

Samuel06 did it to me when like you I hadn’t taken russia and he won, Sovietishcat did it after Russia had fallen , so I was able to pivot to eventually force him out…was touch and go though!
We shall see how it goes, had to try something to shift the balance.

Glad I put the sub with my bombers to take the hit from your DD. The Ruskies missed all their shots. I put a DD as blocker in sz104. I’m not clear what happens if U.S. NCM moves a DD into where Germans subs are parked. Can my sub leave on my turn or be forced to fight. Will playtest, but don’t want to scroll thru turns to see. So I reserve the right to move a few German subs retroactively on Japan’s turn, before U.S. turn.

I was worried about your attack on neutrals, because Balkans were lightly defended and Turkey went 0-for 9, instead of giving 3 hits to UK. But I moved tanks down from Germany. And luckily, had excess mech in Ukraine, guarding against air attack from fighters in Moscow, that were available to go south. Although Germany hadn’t taken Moscow, its income is high, and I had enough defense in Bry. Getting 6 infantry in Sweden is great for defending Norway.

Yeah…wasn’t overly thrilled with attacking turkey but had to be done if attacking spain…couldnt let you pick up 8 spare inf! Brits are a bit pressed to open up a 2nd front tbh but we shall see.

Took a long time to rearrange the troops in China and put what defense I could muster against the UK fleet in Indian Ocean. I’m slower than most players in having Japan attack Russia to reduce its income to help Germany. But also want to take India and keep U.S. and ANZ bottled up. And UK fighters in Moscow and Russian and UK mobile units can counterattack on the Chinese border.
