    Apparently there is a rule that if there are only AA guns left in a territory, the attacker has to continue and take the territory (so in Rostov, I could keep 1 AA gun alive to force you to take the territory for example). I’m really not fond of that rule, so if you don’t have a problem with that let’s say that the attacker can retreat if there is any unit left in the territory.

    Oh boy that would suck! Another one of those obscure, non-intuitive loophole type rules. Totally agree with you on that. Maybe consider doing away with that in BM3.

    I would imagine that the logic would be that it’s the same situation with transports, ie not having units with combat strenght left. In dice though this makes strafing nearly impossible to pull off.

    true i agree it was, but i also weighed the consequence if i DID succeed in taking rostov. i didn’t think it’d be too bad, i mean i’d score 26 instead of 16, and then you’d probably score something similar on the counter. idk at least that was my thinking. ukraine was still safe in that case as well.
