    Generally go by the following:

    1. If I’m equal in number or greater, just intercept without asking, unless losing some planes might put me in grave danger (say in a one-two US-UK punch where US did an SBR and UK has a big amphib force that’d require my preserving every last plane for defense).
    2. If I’m outnumbered by only 1, then just ask.
    3. If I’m outnumbered by 2 or more, then no intercept. Proceed with the SBR.

    Recently, I had a 6 to 3 advantage, and my opponent decided to scramble. Lucky for him, he got 2 hits to my none. So what what seems an obvious no-scramble decision to me is not always the case. If you want to specify a specific ratio, which equal to or more you would never scramble, I will honor it.
