  • Alright, some weird edits in my UK move that I hope are alright:

    1. I meant to attack Libya with the art rather than the mech so I could ncm the mech to Cairo. The way I rolled dice only hurts me (rolling mech rather than art), so I hope this edit is ok.

    2. I forgot that I couldn’t place my fighters in London due to damage, so edited to dd/bom in Quebec. I hope you take my good faith that this was not affected by rolls, but rather just me correcting my own stupidity to probably a subpar move.

    Again, sorry for my recent absences and thanks for the hearty good spirit :)

    From the Pacific Rulebook:

    The United Kingdom and ANZAC

    These two powers also have an arrangement with the Dutch government in exile (Holland having been captured
    by Germany) and have taken guardianship of the Dutch territories in the Pacific. As a result, they are free to move
    units into these territories as a noncombat movement at any time, as long as they have not yet been captured by Japan.
    They may actually take control of them (gaining their IPC income) by moving land units into them. Additionally, the
    United Kingdom and ANZAC consider attacks against any Dutch territories to be acts of war against them directly.
    Once a Dutch territory has been captured by Japan, however, it may be captured and controlled by any power.

    So in layman’s terms: Everyone else is treating them as allies.

    Dutch: “Ok USA, you can station your troops here, thats fine, its not like you would aks for permission anyways.”

    Fair enough. In a league game I don’t think I’d ask for such allowances, and you are well within your rights to refuse. Thanks for allowing; I appreciate the friendly atmosphere :)

    Oh, then I didnt explain it fully, apparently.

    For every other power except UK and Anzac, those Dutch territories are like friendly territories… e.g. like if USA lands in sibiria it wont change the ownership.
    The special rule here is, that both UK and Anzac are allowed to take over Dutch territories… meaning they treat it a bit like an enemy territory also… they land on it in non combat, but take ownership.

    So moving the US unit there doesnt really do you any good,

    sigh If you want you can edit your US troops from Dutch New Guinea to Java and and the Transport from 45 to 42.

    No reason to punish you for not knowing the exact rules in this point.  :-)
