    I do not think you can edit a change of possession for New Zealand. When I ran the simulation, the presence of a Japanese submarine, even if it submerges to avoid combat with the US subs, prevents the US land units from disembarking onto NZ. This is why the program did not allow you to land the US units, and you had to edit it in.
