5 fgt 1 cruiser 1 dst 18+ 2 total of 20 attack over 7 hits.
so that’s 3.3 hits first round.
I have 1 sub 1 dst 1 cru 1 bat 3 fgt.
1+2+3+16 = 22 attack over 7 hits.
so that’s 3.67 the first round.
The difference all comes to play into play on the second round. With the loss of the sub, dst, cru vs dst cru fgt or better. The defender retains the edge. and the same on the following round.
I speculate you’ll hit 2, to my hitting 4. Then we’ll hear about it for the rest of the game :P
You are welcome to try it. By all means. But when you lose - and lose the subsequent sea lion - it was your call and not “bad dice” :P
If however you mean to say that you might destroy the bulk of my surface ships - but not cut into my airforce, you are correct, but you’ll be out your own Air Force in the mean time. And Italy will be gold. :P

Also, forgot to ask,
Are we playing with tech? I would like to. If you don’t want to, that’s fine, but lest atleast roll on it.
And like before - I think we played our last game this way, I like to play ALL my games with the German optional rule of subs interdicting at -3, It’s a really good rule - and adds strategic depth to the game.
Considering I’ve lost almost all of my subs, and haven’t hit with a single one, it shouldn’t be a big deal. But I thought I’d mention it.
Your guy’s thoughts?
