Battle of Britain - 19th April 2026

The next Battle of Britain will be held on the 19th April 2026.

This all-day event is held in Derbyshire, UK.

Typically we have 6 to 12 players, with up to three A&A games running - any of Anniversary, 1942.2, 1914 and North Africa - allowing everyone to decide which they wish to play.

We were considering to come by and say hello…

We just found out, that we can fly from Copenhagen to Manchester (2 hours) - but then it takes 4-6 hours to get from Manchester to Derbyshire…

Since the event is held only for one day - and a Sunday, it would not be possible for us to get there - and get back on the same day.

…unfortunately…

@The-Captain Thanks! It’s a long trip, although if you hire a car, driving from Manchester Airport to the venue is 1 hr 20 mins. But it’s still not really practical unless you have other reasons to be in the UK.

When I looked at popping over to yours, that was the conclusion I reached too.

However, if you are ever in a position to join us, then you would, of course, be welcome.

@djensen Well - I have done it Dave, but I think I may have made an error on the date. I want to check, but it is not appearing on the events page you linked above.

@Private-Panic There’s an approval process (but maybe I should whitlist some folks like you).

But you should have received an email with a link that allows you to make edits before they’re published.
